'Pimp my Aston'The Premier with Taste and Style

The story
It centers around a dissimilar pair of brothers. Both brothers shared the same roots but their development led to entirely different characters and consequences. The shared roots are symbolised by the form of the Aston Martin DB9 hood. In both pictures it bears similarities to a shark, with its sleek form and wide open jaws exhibiting a grill instead of teeth - like bars at the window.

One brother is represented in "Pimp my Aston". The use of a small orange-red imitation diamond in the row of teeth, or rather the grill, implies him to be a Hip-Hopper with certain gangster attributes. As a symbol of his potency he openly wears an enormous ring. The sign of the cross on the ring signifies his claim to power through a higher authority: God-given power, so to speak. And: the ring is in turn hanging on an oversized plated chain of the type particularly favoured by the more common element of society.

The diamond in conjunction with the jewellery reveals how this brother has converted the elegant British Aston Martin into a pimp's car and thereby debased such a quintessential trademark. In this manner he demonstrates strength, potency and masculinity.

"The Premier with Taste and Style" presents the other world. Hat and cuff-links as a symbol of style and elegance signify strength born of knowledge, composure and superiority - indications of following in the footsteps of an imaginary father and of assuming both responsibility and power.

Whichever way the decision goes, one of the two will feel their father's judgement to be unjust. He must learn to deal with this injustice, to determine his own role in life and to make his own way independently.
